Twenty years of practice, sports medicine before the white coat, and a program he wishes he could have walked onto a job site with at 28.
Brian McCarley, DC, founded Genesis Family Chiropractic in 2006 and built it patient by patient over the next two decades. Genesis Corporate Health is what those years look like when they're organized for a team instead of a person.
The sports medicine training came first.
The first license Brian held wasn't chiropractic. It was the Indiana Athletic Trainers License, issued in 1998, the year the state created the credential. He was one of the first in Indiana to hold it. The certification that earned him that license went back further still. The National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certified him in 1995, when he was working sidelines and weight rooms and figuring out where pain comes from when a body is asked to do a hard thing for a paycheck.
That order matters. Most chiropractors come in through the wellness door. Brian came in through the locker room. By the time he sat for his Doctor of Chiropractic boards, he'd already spent more than a decade looking at musculoskeletal injuries from the perspective of the people who absolutely cannot afford to be hurt: athletes, athletic trainers, coaches, and the parents and employers who depend on them.
Most chiropractors come in through the wellness door. I came in through the locker room. I'm interested in what gets a working body back to work.
Then 2006 happened.
Brian sat for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners exams (Parts I through IV plus the Physiotherapy board), passed them all, and opened Genesis Family Chiropractic in Indiana in September 2006. He hasn't closed it since. Twenty years and counting of one-room practice in the suburbs north of Indianapolis, treating families, kids, athletes, and the working adults who keep showing up to a body that's slowly accumulating wear.
In 2005, just before opening the practice, he added Activator Methods Basic and Advanced certification. Activator is a low-force, instrument-assisted technique with a strong safety profile for the medically complicated patient (post-surgical histories, osteoporosis, pregnancy, kids). It's also fast, which matters a lot more in a job-site context than it does in a clinic.
The corporate engagement happened almost by accident.
In January 2026, a construction company in Tipton, Indiana asked Brian to come to the site. Their crew was beat up. Knees and backs, mostly. The owner, who founded the company himself, wanted to keep his small crew healthy and on the job.
Brian brought the portable adjusting table and the Activator instrument and treated the crew on their own floor. The owner signed a recurring engagement, and Brian has been on-site every Thursday since. That engagement, Urban Restoration Group, is the live reference customer for Genesis Corporate Health.
Why Genesis is a sub-brand, not a pivot
Genesis Family Chiropractic still runs out of the original office. That practice still serves families, kids, and individual patients in the Indianapolis suburbs. Genesis Corporate Health is what happens when Dr. McCarley packs the kit and goes to the team instead. Same hands. Same training. New organizing principle.
What you're hiring when you hire Dr. McCarley.
The honest version of this list:
- Twenty years of clinical practice. Not three years and a clever website. There aren't many shortcuts in spinal mechanics, and he hasn't taken any.
- Sports medicine framing. The vocabulary of recovery, mobility, and performance. Not "subluxation," not "alignment energy," not metaphysics. The body is a system; injuries are a math problem; the math has a usable answer most of the time.
- One operator, on every visit. Genesis Corporate Health is not a clinic with associate chiropractors and an admin team. Brian shows up. Brian adjusts. Brian leaves. Same provider every month. The relationship is the product.
- Activator Advanced. Most corporate engagements work best with the instrument technique. It's quick, it's quiet, it doesn't require disrobing, and it gets people back to the shop floor in 10 minutes instead of 30.
- P&L literacy. Brian runs his own practice. He understands what it costs to keep a roof over a small business. When he talks numbers with you, he's talking from the same side of the table, not from the consultant's chair.
What he isn't.
He is not a wellness influencer. He doesn't run an Instagram, doesn't sell supplements as a side hustle, doesn't have a podcast about "performance optimization." He has a portable table, a 20-year practice, a wife, four kids, an airplane he flies on weekends, and a calendar that's about to fill up with construction companies and manufacturing floors. The brand of Genesis Corporate Health is honest about that on purpose.
The rooms he's already in.
Brian doesn't lead-gen. He works through the rooms he's already a part of:
- Radiant Christian Life Church (Westfield, Indiana), active member
- Bowls & Business, operator-focused networking group
- Hamilton County Fish & Game Association
- Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 67
If you found this page through one of those rooms, that probably tells you most of what you need to know about who Genesis works with and why. Brian comes out of operator-friendly, faith-comfortable, plain-spoken communities. The site reads the way he talks, because he's the one delivering the work.

Genesis Family Chiropractic is still open.
If you're an existing patient of Genesis Family Chiropractic and you found this page because your employer was telling you about it, hi. The Family practice is not going anywhere. The corporate brand is a way for Dr. McCarley to bring the same work to teams that wouldn't otherwise know it exists. If you'd like to keep coming to the office, nothing changes. If you'd like your company to consider Genesis Corporate Health, the place to start is the fit call.
If you've read this far, you're probably an operator who is wondering if any of this fits your floor. The next step is the fit call. Thirty minutes, no deck, real numbers. If it isn't a fit, we'll say so.

Still the one in the room.
Brian McCarley has practiced since 2006, with a background in sports medicine before the white coat. That is the same set of hands every employee sees, visit after visit.
No associate hand-off, no rotating staff. The doctor who builds the relationship is the doctor who does the work.
